HPBOSE registration 2026-27: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has set November 16, 2026, as the last date for Class 9 and Class 10 students to complete registration for the 2026-27 academic session by paying a late fee of Rs 500. Students studying in government and private schools affiliated with the board who have not yet completed the process must submit their forms within the deadline. Registrations submitted after the prescribed date will not be considered. The board will also open a correction window from November 17 to November 25, 2026, allowing schools to rectify errors in submitted registration forms. The facility will cover key student details, including names, date of birth, category and selected elective subjects.HPBOSE correction window dates and detailsHPBOSE Chairman Dr Rajesh Sharma said schools would receive additional time to correct inadvertent errors in registration records. During the correction window, school authorities can make changes to students’ names, father’s and mother’s names, gender, date of birth, category and selected elective subjects. The correction facility is intended to help schools verify and update student information before the registration records are finalised. Schools must ensure that the submitted details match the information recorded in their admission registers.Principals responsible for registration errorsThe board has instructed principals and headmasters of all government and private schools to complete the registration process within the prescribed timeline. School authorities have been directed to check every student’s details carefully against the admission register before submitting the information. If registration remains incomplete after the deadline or discrepancies are found in students’ personal details or selected subjects, the concerned school principal will be held directly responsible, according to the board’s instructions.HPBOSE helpline numbers for registration supportThe board has issued dedicated contact numbers to help schools resolve technical difficulties and registration-related queries.
